The practical consequence is that a five-year-old is bookable at some of these operators and not at others, on the same water on the same morning, at prices that overlap. Ask with the child's age and height in the same message, so the answer you get is on record against the right numbers. If you are booking white water rafting on the Ayung for a mixed-age group, the youngest passenger decides which operator you can use; if that floor rules the youngest out, a day like Nusa Penida with kids is the easier plan to move.

Surya Bintang Adventures is the rare operator that publishes physical limits instead of only a birthday: maximum 120 kg and minimum height 120 cm, alongside a stated age floor of 5. Those two lines contradict each other, and the second one wins. 120 cm is roughly the average height of a seven-year-old, so the height bar filters out most children under 7 no matter what the age column says. A five-year-old who looks bookable on the website can still be turned away at the start point for being short, after the drive and after payment.
Sobek, Mason and Graha publish no weight limit at all. That is not generosity — it means the limit is nowhere in writing and gets set on the day by two physical things: how many people the raft carries, and the size range of the life jackets on the rack. Neither is published, so the rule you are measured against is equipment, not policy.
An answer that quotes the child's actual height back at you is worth considerably more than a website line reading "from 5", so keep the reply. If the operator will only repeat the age range and will not comment on a 110 cm child, treat that as an unanswered question rather than a yes — the person who will make the call has not made it yet.

Whichever river you pick, settle before you book who in the party carries a tired child up the last flight, because on the Ayung that job exists.
