Jimbaran sits on the Bukit side of the airport, and that makes the south its easy half. The terminal is 6-8 km and 15-30 minutes away, Benoa harbour, where the sunset cruise leaves, is 15-30 minutes, and the Uluwatu cliff temple is 20-40 minutes from most hotels. The long days run the other way: Sanur port for Nusa Penida is a planned 60-90 minutes, Tanah Lot 1.5-2 hours, and the Mount Batur sunrise collects at about 01:30. Below is every tour we run from Jimbaran with its pickup time, drive and price.

Which tours pick up from Jimbaran?
All of the ones in the table below. Jimbaran is in the standard pickup area of our day tours, together with Nusa Dua. Its advantage is the south: the airport, Benoa and the cliffs are each within half an hour or so, while the north and the interior are long days. The comparison with the other side of the airport is in Jimbaran or Seminyak, and the drive between them in Seminyak to Jimbaran.
Prices are either per car or per person. The car tours, Ubud, UNESCO, east Bali, Tanah Lot and Bedugul, and the private car, are priced per vehicle for up to five, with entrance tickets per person on top where the route has them; the west Nusa Penida tour is per car for up to six. The Batur formats, the manta trip and the cruise are per person.

What is close: the airport, Benoa and the cliffs
Jimbaran is 6-8 km from Ngurah Rai and we plan 15-30 minutes for it, one of the shortest transfers on the island, so late landings and early flights are easy. Benoa harbour is 15-30 minutes away, which makes the sunset cruise from $150 an easy evening from here.
The Uluwatu cliff temple is 20-40 minutes from most Jimbaran hotels. The classic day on this side is one crossing of the airport corridor: the temple and a Bukit beach in the afternoon, then dinner on the sand in the bay. A car and driver from $59 per car covers it, and our Tanah Lot or Uluwatu sunset guide explains why the cliffs win from the Bukit side.
The long days from Jimbaran
Nusa Penida is the best of them. We plan 60-90 minutes from Jimbaran to Sanur port, where every fast boat leaves, then 30-45 minutes across; the west tour is from $49 per car for up to six with hotel pickup, and the manta trip from $29 per person. Mount Batur is the hardest night: the far south is collected at about 01:30 or slightly earlier, and the jeep at $60 with pickup lets you sleep both legs.
Inland and west are long days. The Ubud route and the UNESCO tour both collect from Jimbaran in the morning and run 10 hours from $65 per car; Tanah Lot is 1.5-2 hours each way, which is why from this side the cliff temple is the better sunset.
What we would not book from Jimbaran
A Gili day trip. Padang Bai, where the short crossing leaves, is on the far side of the island, and sailings from Nusa Dua, Sanur and Serangan take 3-4 hours at sea. If the islands matter, stay a night; our Gili Islands fast boat guide compares the harbours.
And Tanah Lot as a quick sunset. It is 1.5-2 hours each way from Jimbaran; the Uluwatu cliffs, 20-40 minutes away, are the better evening from this side of the island.
